Am I alone in thinking the award of the harsh Swiss pen last night was perhaps not quite as outrageous as all seem to be claiming?
Apparently, no Swiss players even appealed - you can see from footage that the two Swiss guys in the box appealed immediately ... Evans turns sideways to block the shot so the ball is only going to hit the length of his arm or hand.

Anyone who supports the Irish at a world cup who's British is a bit of a cunt anyway.
Northern Irish are ok, but have been shit for years and are over achieving.

Truth be told N Ireland were under the cosh for most of the game.
They have gone off the boil and sadly I didn't fancy them to get through.
Think Ireland will suffer the same fate, so we are stuck with fucking England as sole representative in the World Cup.
How grim is that

Shocking isn't the word. If that hit 1/10th of his upper arm while he was looking the other way I'd b surprised. How any of the Irish failed to chin the Romanian gypsy cunt (see Mrs. Evans for that line) is remarkable.
To add genuine injury to insult, Evans got a yellow card and can't play in the second leg. At least the Romanian ref will be finished with serious football after that game.

One of the worst decisions I've ever seen.
Not sure it even hits his arm, which is by his side anyway and the ball is walloped from 4 yards away.
Not that I care, as i take pleasure from seeing the other british teams and ireland fuck up.

International rule state the referees should be foreign. This would be an advantage to the Swiss because they are foreign and NI are British
